The Council for Popularisation of Science of the Academy of Sciences of the CR (hereinafter referred to as Council) is established as a permanent auxiliary and consultative body of the Academic Council of the ASCR for the popularisation of scientific results. The Council discusses fundamental conceptual and implementation issues of the popularisation activities of the Academy of Sciences of the CR in the promotion of the scientific results of research and development and of the transfer of technologies. The Council performs its activity in close cooperation with all workplaces of the ASCR, with higher education institutes, other research institutions and the media.
