The Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals (ICPF) is one of the six institutes constituting the Section of Chemical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The Institute functions as a center for advanced research in chemical, biochemical, catalytic and environmental engineering and it acts as a graduate school for PhD. studies in the fields of chemical engineering, physical chemistry, industrial chemistry, and biotechnology.

  • The Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals AS CR, v. v. i. organizes the 11th International Conference Indoor Air Quality in Heritage and Historic Environments IAQ 2014, The conference will be held from April 13 to 16, 2014 in the Kaiserstein Palace in Prague.

  • The 12th Pannonian Symposium on Catalysis will be held from September 16 to 20, 2014 at the Castle Třešť in the Czech Republic. Abstracts may be submitted on the conference website until May 5, 2014.

  • The annual Bažant postgraduate conference took place at the ICPF Large Meeting Room on June 19, 2014 from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. The conference contributions were assessed by the Committee for the Scientific Education of the ICPF; the following students were awarded with prizes from the Director of the institute.
