Technology Centre ASCR invites all those interested to participate in a two-day workshop “Foresight as a Tool for Policy-making”, taking place in Prague on the 16^th and 17^th October 2014. The workshop is held under auspices of the European Techno-Economic Policy Support Network (ETEPS) and its main aim is to explore the possibilities and challenges of utilization of foresight and forward-looking methods in the policy-making processes at the national level.

Invited are especially young researchers and/or PhD students from organizations dealing with issues related to the focus of the workshop. The event presents a rare opportunity to share, exchange and discuss experience and knowledge regarding the ways through which foresight and forward-looking methods can be embedded more systematically within the policy-making processes.
