Delegation from Chinese city of Tianjin at the Technology Centre ASCR
Technology Centre ASCR was visited by representatives from Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Northern Technology Exchange Market from the city of Tianjin in China. Tianjin is the third largest city in China and the industrial centre of China with approx. 14 million citizens and boasts one of the largest GDP per capita in China. There are located more than
100 companies from the Fortune 500 list.
During discussions with the representatives from Department of Business Development of the Technology Centre ASCR as well as representatives of the technology transfer offices of the Czech universities and other guests Chinese visitors presented cooperation possibilities within the Tianjin region. Prof. Václav Hlaváč, Head of the Center of Machine Perception at the CTU Prague presented cases of the university technology transfer and cooperation of the Center of Machine Perception with leading industrial partners.
The meeting with Chinese partners has been carried out within the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network. The Czech part of the Enterprise Europe Network is coordinated by the Technology Centre ASCR and our colleagues from Tianjin are network partners for the area of northeast China.
