- Bibliography workplace: Follows the field of contemporary history from 1918 until the present time in all interfiled connections, that is in the relation to political, social and economic history, to the history of state and law, to philosophy, ecology and other scientific disciplines.
- Bibliographical lists of foreign literature were regularly made public in the magazine Contemporary History from Vol. 1 (1993) to Vol. 9 (2002).
- Czech production concerning contemporary history was processed continually in three cumulative bibliographies under the title “Czech/Czechoslovak Bibliography”. It comprises monographs, proceedings and articles from scholarly journals and proceedings published from (1989)1990 to 2004.
- For the 19th and 20th international congress of historical sciences (Oslo 2000 and Sydney 2005) two bibliographies Czech and Czechoslovak History. All names of processed documents were translated into one world language.
- For the edition of International Bibliography of Historical Sciences in Rome a list of records of Czech literature concerning contemporary history.
- Special thematic and personal bibliographies that are published in proceedings and scholarly journals are continuously processed. For example: Czech-German relations, Czech, Slovak and Czechoslovak exile after the Second World War, Charter 77, Prague Spring, the early stage of normalization, etc.
- Czech and foreign scholarly journals are systematically excerpted. The base of articles has been online since 2003 and is updated twice a year.
- For the ASEP (Automatic system of publications record) of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic publications of the employees of the Institute of Contemporary History are regularly processed.
