Software System for Universal Functional Optimization
UFO is an interactive software system for continuous functional optimization that serves for solving both dense medium-size and sparse large-scale optimization problems. This system can be used for formulation and solution of particular optimization problems and also for preparation of specialized optimization subroutines and development of new optimization methods. UFO is controlled by a special input language and contains many user friendly tools as input dialog, output graphics, automatic differentiation, automatic checking of external subroutines and interface to CUTE testing environment.
