Job Satisfaction and Job Change - June 2014

June's survey of CVVM asked questions regarding the relationship of workers to their jobs. On the one hand, the survey focused on the topics such as job satisfaction, perception of workplace climate and subjective evaluation of adequacy of earnings. On the other hand, the aim was also to determine, what is the proportion of workers considering the possibility of changing their job and what they think about the probability of job loss.

Czech Public on Unemployment - June 2014

In June survey CVVM investigated opinions of Czech citizens related to the level and the future trend of unemployment in Czech Republic as well as to the situation on labour-market in the place of their living. 67 % of respondents declared that the unemployment is too high, which is less than in the last year (71 %), but much more in comparison to the situation before economical crisis (2008: 36%).

Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"

Public Opinion on the Rights of Homosexuals - June 2014

In June 2014, CVVM survey posed a question regarding the social acceptance of homosexuality. Other questions examined public opinion on particular rights of gays and lesbians such as the right for registered partnership, the right to get married and the right for children adoption.

Public Opinion on HIV/AIDS Issue – June 2014

In June within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the HIV/AIDS issue. The majority (83%) of the Czech Republic population representatives state that they are not afraid of HIV/AIDS infection but 73% of them perceive the disease as a current problem. Fifty five percent of them believe the relevant institutions are engaged in HIV/AIDS issues adequately.

Opinons of the Czech public toward the events on Ukraine - June 2014

According to the June survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre, 47 % of Czech citizens are interested in current events in Ukraine. Respondents were also asked about their evaluation of the current activities of various groups in the conflict and about active participation of international community in solving the situation.
