Investiční princip financování v reformách českého vysokého školství

The chapter is an analysis of the development of tertiary education reforms in the Czech Republic that have taken place after 1989. Each relevant period of the development is judged from the perspective of financing tertiary education, size and a character of its internal deficit and its effect on access to tertiary education. At the end, the chapter presents a comparative analysis of systems of financing tertiary education. For each specific model of financing (liberal, welfare, central-European) represented by a cluster of countries the most important indicators of access and participation in tertiary education are presented and discussed at a policy level.
