Our Institute, in cooperation with the Open Science project, offers several topics for secondary school students for their student works.
The topics are:
- Accurate timekeeping
- Preparation of InP layers of liquid microchannel epitaxy and study of their properties using an electron microscope
- Measurement of the electrical properties of semiconductor washers with micropores
- Verification of the possibility of using such structures as gas sensors
- Measurement of the influence of the anisotropy of the pores of the semiconductor sensitivity to various gases and use of this effect to the selective function of the sensor
- The calculation of the real and imaginary components of impedance RC model with a dispersed parameters microporous structure
- Topography measurements of thin films skutterudites by scanning with a tunneling microscope
- Achieving ultra-high vacuum
- Programming a feedback device for the process of pulling optical fibers
