Open Day
Do you want to study at a leading economics institute? Open Day, November 13th, 2014 from 1.30pm is a chance for masters and bachelor students to explore and learn more about CERGE-EI.
Come to explore our premises in the center of Prague, meet our faculty members, get to know the students, and hear what alumni have to say about how CERGE-EI has enhanced their careers.
Please fill out a short registration form to secure your place.
Travel costs reimbursed (up to 600 CZK) on a first come first served basis. We can also help you to find accommodation.
In addition to becoming familiar with CERGE-EI during Open Day, you are also invited to visit classes during the entire week to experience what studying at CERGE-EI is like.
At CERGE-EI everything is taught in English and students get a lot of support from our Academic Skills Center. If you would like to try this benefit out, now is your chance! PhD in Economics presented by Jakub Steiner, Associate Professor.
MA in Applied Economics presented by Filip Matějka, Assistant Professor.
Visiting students presented by Zuzana Vanysacker, Head of Study Affairs Office.
14:10 – 14:30 Coffee Break
14:30 - 15:15 Open discussion with CERGE-EI alumni, students and faculty.
15:15 - 16:30 Coffee break and informal individual discussions + Tour of the library and building with a student representative (1. tour at 15:15, 2. tour at 16:00).
16:30 Micro Theory Research Seminar with Prof. Balázs Szentes, from the London School of Economics.
18:00 Beer Party
