CERGE-EI a Partner of reSITE Conference
June 18, 2014
Do cities adapt to people or do people adapt to cities? The reSITE conference offered ideas for developing more livable cities. The conference took place on June 19th and 20th 2014 in Prague.
Social and economic inequality, unemployment, increasing traffic, too much or too little urban green space, sprawling housing, passive citizens, etc. There were many inspiring ideas about how to cope with these issues from more than 50 globally and regionally recognized experts during the conference and several parallel workshops.
Karel Schwarzenberg and the Mayor of Prague, Tomáš Hudeček and Jan Švejnar, among others, represented the Czech Republic at the event. For more information about the conference visit reSITE webpages.
