Long-Term CERGE-EI Board Member Orley Ashenfelter Gives American Economic Association Presidential Address on January 7, 2012 at AEA Meetings in Chicago
Prof. Ashenfelter, who served as President of the American Economic Association in 2011, presented the Presidential Address titled "Cross-Country Wage Comparisons" during the Awards Ceremony of the Annual American Economics Association Meetings in Chicago on January 7, 2012. The text of his address, which will appear in the March 2012 issue of the American Economic Review, is based on a long-term project on which Prof. Ashenfelter collaborates with Stepan Jurajda, the Director of CERGE-EI. Prof. Ashenfelter was a Member of CERGE-EI's Executive and Supervisory Committee from 2000 - 2006, and is currently a Member of the Board of the CERGE-EI Foundation USA.
