International course "Technology Foresight for Practitioners" will be organized for the third time in Prague, in the conference room of Technology Centre AS CR. This year the course will run from 3 to 7 October 2005 (Monday – Friday). The course is held in cooperation with UNIDO and it is focused on practical use of foresight methods in designing research and innovation policies, identifying long-term research priorities, on developing innovation strategies as well as other issues related to building a knowledge-based economy.

The course will be, in the same manner as in the preceding years, supported by a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Attending the course is free of charge for both Czech participants and participants from selected foreign countries. Foreign participants will have to cover their travel and accommodation expenses themselves.

Registration Form is to be filled-in on-line. Due to a limited course capacity it is recommended to register as soon as possible. In case of a high number of applicants a selection of participants will be done according to geographic criteria (a balanced representation of target countries) and their professional qualification.
