Ad hoc workshops are small two days workshops organized by authors of the crystallographic software Jana2006. The topics of the 24th workshop are as follows: 1) Brief introduction to modulated structures; 2) Data processing of modulated structures; 3) Application of rigid body and local symmetry; 4) Incommensurate versus commensurate refinement; 5) Discontinuous (crenel) modulation functions; 6) Five-dimensional structures; 7) Structure analysis from electron diffraction data. The examples also cover merohedric twinning and solving structures by charge flipping. Program details will be given in the workshop page.
