We provide the Research Teams of our Institute with the following services:

• Advising on application of radioactivity measurements on Liquid Scintillation Spectrometers and on Gamma Counter. We do routine checking, calibration and maintenance of the spectrometers.
• Checking the purity of commercial labeled compounds using radio-HPLC and their repurification, if appropriate.
• Syntheses of commercially unavailable compounds labeled by radionuclides ³H, ¹²⁵I. We are building the capacity to do custom syntheses with ¹⁴C.
• Measurement of ³H NMR spectra.
• Training of employees in protection against ionizing radiation. Radioprotection Officer of the IOCB is the Head of the Laboratory of Radioisotopes, Dr. T.Elbert. All inquiries concerning handling of radioactive materials should be addressed to him.
• Radioactive waste management.
