Alan Krueger Joins CERGE-EI Executive Board

On 21 November, Professor Alan B. Krueger (Princeton University) was nominated to join the Executive and Supervisory Committee Executive and Supervisory Committee (ESC) of CERGE-EI.
2010 NFKJ Neutron Award in Economics

Michal Pakoš, a Senior Researcher at CERGE-EI, has received the 2010 Neutron award in the field of economics. The annual Neutron awards were recently established by Nadační fond Karla Janečka (Karel Janeček's Endowment Fund).
CERGE-EI and the EC Directorate-General

CERGE-EI, together with GHK, form the Core team coordinating European Employment Observatory (EEO) which contributes to developing the European Employment Strategy (EES) by providing information, comparative research, and evaluation on employment policies and labour market trends in the countries in the EU and EU candidate countries.
Grant from the EU Structural Funds

CERGE-EI was successful in obtaining a grant from the EU Structural Funds (operational program “Prague Adaptability” managed by the City Hall of Prague) with the project entitled “Development and quality enhancement of the Ph.D. in Economics program at CERGE UK”.
