Professor Frank Michelman was awarded

by the Czech Academy of Sciences

Professor Frank I. Michelman received the František Palacký award of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The prize was awarded as an appreciation of the contribution to the Czech and world science. Prof. Michelman have helped revitalize in a significant way the Czech legal, moral and political theory during the last decade by his own scientific work and by means of a co-organization of the annual conference "Philosophy and Social Sciences" which takes place in the Academy of Sciences in Prague.
