How do I get a library card?

You must come to the library and register as a user. Your card will be issued immediately upon registering, or alternatively you can use your valid ISIC card (with barcode) as a library card.

Can I apply for a library card online?

Unfortunately you cannot. You may download the registration form from the library website and bring it with you on your first visit to the library.

How do I get a card if I am not a Czech resident?

The registration process is the same for Czech and non-Czech residents. For borrowing policies, please consult the library rules.

What if I lose my library card?

Please notify the Library as soon as possible if you lose your Library Card (ISIC) to prevent someone else from using it.

What shall I do if my library card expires?

Your registration will be valid for either one year or for six months. After the given period, it must be prolonged in person at the circulation desk.
