Graduation Gala 2014 Sponsors
May 9, 2014
We are excited to announce that this year's Gala sponsors are the Herold Brewery and The Stapleton-Springer Winery.
Brewery Herold Březnice, located in small town near Prague, is one of the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic, dating back to 1506. Its main building, built in baroque style, is a part of Czech cultural heritage. The uniqueness of the brewery is that it still brews beer with traditional technologies in a brew kettle from 1905, using its own malt and water from their private well. The beer wins several prizes every year for its taste and quality.
In ongoing work, Historical Association Herold Březnice announced that it is taking contributions to save the historical monuments – baroque sculptures and coat of arms, that may be seen at the brewery. For more information (in Czech only) see http://www.spolekherold.cz/
The Stapleton-Springer Winery came into being in 2004. The former US Ambassador Craig Stapleton, lawyer Benjamin Stapleton and winemaker Jaroslav Springer entered into an agreement to create a winery bearing the names of its founding members which was to produce red wine of the highest quality. The Stapleton-Springer Winery specializes in red wines for long-term storage. The winery operates on an organic (BIO) regime.
