Library of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (ASL) is a public research institution whose purpose is to conduct scientific research in the area of scientific information and library science, to establish a research-oriented information infrastructure, and to provide library-based, informational, and reprographic services to the institutes of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and other users active in research and science. Extension of the exhibitions
Because of great interest in the exhibition of Library of the Academy of Sciences historical collection „Art of wandering in air or Balloons“ (texts are both in Czech and English) it will be extended until 31 March, along with photo-exhibition „With head in the clouds”. Photo-exhibition “Idiot in the library” will be long-term accessed in the relaxing room. You can check exhibitions over free of charge during working days from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Book return box
Loaned documents can be returned into the book return box (Monday–Friday, 6 a.m. to 20 p.m.), which is placed in the lobby in front of the entry of the library. Read more »
