The company CEDAZ operates shuttle bus transport between Václav Havel Airport and city centre.
Public transport.
(i) Take the bus 100 to the terminal station Zličín, change for the Metro line B, get off at the station Karlovo náměstí, front exit, and walk 5 minutes or take one stop by tram no. 4, 10, 16 or 22 to Štěpánská.
(ii) Take the bus 119 to the terminal station Dejvická, change for the Metro line A, get off at the station Můstek, front exit, and walk 5 minutes.
For each of the alternatives you need just one standard public transport ticket valid for the whole trip which will make approx. 1 hour total travel time. See the Public transportation section below.
Public transport.
From the railway stations Praha – Hlavní nádraží and Praha – Holešovice take the Metro line C to the station Muzeum and walk 5 minutes.
From Praha – Hlavní nádraží it is also possible to walk about 15 minutes.
It is not advisable to take a taxi from the railway station.
By car:
Žitná is a main east-west street in the city center, it is one-way from east to west. Look at the interactive map. Parking in the city center, in particular near the Institute
is difficult. There is a limited possibility of parking in the yard of the Institute, please check beforehand if you plan to use it.
Public transport.
Prague has a cheap and efficient public transportation.
The subway runs from 5 a.m. till midnight. During the night, there are several tram and bus lines (numbers with the first digit 5).
The closest stations:
metro – Můstek (lines A, B), Muzeum (lines A, C), Karlovo náměstí (line B);
Taxi. Check the official taxi fares in Prague. It is recommended to check conditions and ask about approximate price in advance. The driver should provide a receipt printed from the meter. The city of Prague introduced a Fair place quality rank system.
Public transport.
The direct bus line No. 76 to Brno Main Train Station via the Main Bus Station operates from 05:30 till 22:30 every 30 minutes. The night bus No. 89 operates from 23:00 till 05:00 every 30 or 60 minutes. The travel time is about 20 minutes. For one journey the 2-zones ticket valid for 60 minutes is required.

By train:
Take the bus 92 from the Brno Main Railway Station to the stop Rybkova and walk 5 minutes.
