First CERGE-EI Coursera Learning Hub Discussion Group Successfully Concluded
19 March, 2015
Our first Coursera Learning Hub discussion group dedicated to R Programming concluded on 2 March and we are already planning more Coursera Learning Hub discussion groups to come in the Fall!
The discussion group lasted for 4 weeks with students meeting four times at CERGE-EI for 90 minute sessions. Their instructor, Tomáš Protivínský, a CERGE-EI PhD student, shared various codes, data sources and useful tips for working successfully with R.
There was a lot of interest in the course. 41 students registered, with 21 attending at least 3 sessions to earn a Certificate of Attendance. In feedback, the majority of the students said that they had found the course very beneficial. It was also an enriching experience for the instructor who recommends it as a great teaching experience.
Register now to be among the first ones informed when we open Game Theory and R Programming discussion groups in the Fall.
