New Economic Talent 2015 - Finalists Selected
27 March, 2015
138 students applied to this year’s New Economic Talent competition. They came from 94 universities and 55 countries. Of these, 120 papers were admitted to the first round.
The Evaluation Committee has selected 3 entrants who will present their papers during the final round in Prague on 29 May.
This year’s finalists are:
Nodira Khaydarova, Westminster International University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Paper: Marriage Institutions and Sibling Competition Revisited: Evidence from Indonesia
Cristiano Mantovani, Bocconi University, Italy
Paper: Public Employment Policies in a Two-Sector Model With Matching Frictions and Wage Rigidity
José Javier Domínguez Ramírez, University of Granada, Spain
Paper: Positive Discrimination in Childhood and Adolescence: Culture As a Determinant Factor of Individual Behaviour
