Department of Technology Transfer supports employees of Institute of Physics (IoP) in the field of recognition of scientific results usable in practice, protection of industrial property rights to these results, e.g. patents and utility models applications and their subsequent usage for commercialisation, search for industrial partners for direct co-operation, provides legal services and internally educates IoP's staff in the area of ​​technology transfer and commercialisation. Department publishes a regularly updated Guide to Technology Transfer, which contains the main processes and guidance in the field of intellectual property protection and usage of outcomes.
