Description/Comments:
A 2 year position is available for a Research Fellow to work at one of the topics developed in the Institute of Mathematics CAS. The post would be suitable for a mathematician or another specialist with a strong background in mathematics.
This is a full-time fixed term contract appointment on the internal salary scale at a level commensurate with qualifications and experience. A possible further extension of the contract is subject to standard qualification audit according to the Career Rules and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

Starting date of the employment: 1 July 2015 or upon agreement

Requirements: PhD degree in mathematics or in a related discipline, strong motivation for research, cooperation potential; previous experience in international research cooperation is welcome. Postdoctoral position in the Logic and Randomness in Computational Complexity

A one‐year post‐doc position is available within the framework of the European Research Council Advanced Grant Feasibility, logic and randomness in computational complexity (FEALORA) under the direction of Professor Pavel Pudlák.

Applications are invited from candidates who have completed their Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, or Theoretical Computer Science, within the last 4 years or will complete their Ph.D. degree before December 2015. Applicants should have good background in logic and computational complexity. Publications, as well as other activities and professional achievements, will be judged by the stage of the applicant's career.
