The 2015 IZA Prize in Labor Economics goes to Jan Švejnar, the founder and director of IDEA and chairman of the Executive and Supervisory Committee of CERGE-EI in Prague. He was recognized for his work on economic issues in labor market, development and the transition from socialist to market economies. -
A presentation of the EEAG Report on the European Economy took place on Monday March 30 at 9:30am at the CERGE-EI. A number of guests discussed the macroeconomic prospects of Europe and several trends that affect European politics and economy including migration and energy strategy.
