On March 13-15, 2013, more than 230 specialists from around the world participated at the conference entitled „Technology Assessment and Policy Areas of Great Transitions“, which had been organized by the Technology Centre ASCR (TC) in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology - Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (KIT- ITAS) within the PACITA project (Parliaments and Civil Society in Technology Assessment). The conference took place in the National Technical Library in Prague, being the first TA conference in Europe after decades.
