Research interest
Currently working on aqueous systems that contain an excess electron. The main focus of the research is on the equilibrium properties of the latter solvated electron in bulk and slab systems of water. Furthermore we investigate the reactivity of solvated electrons with possible quenching reagents, e.g., with protonated water ("H₃O"), N₂O and/or O₂.
