Post-doctoral/research-fellow - development of laser spectroscopy methods and their applications

Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences opens post-doctoral/research-fellow position to participate in development of laser spectroscopy methods and their applications within the research team Fiber Lasers and Nonlinear Optics. The research will be focused on high resolution spectroscopy of gas specimens and room/low temperature spectroscopy of rare-earth doped glasses. The applicant should have a deep interest in development of new spectroscopic methods for environment and food quality monitoring as well as for medical diagnostics.

Requirements:

• PhD degree (equivalent) in the field of spectroscopy or fiber optic instrumentation
• Experience with room as well as low temperature spectroscopy
