Patricia Martinkova
I am a research scientist at the Institute of Computer Science, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
My research interests include applied statistics and especially psychometrics. I focus on developing models for estimating the quality of health assessments and educational tests. My apllied research uses these advanced methodologies to analyze medical data and data from educational testing. I have participated in projects on multiple sclerosis, hypertension and leukemia and I have analyzed entrance exams to Charles University, 1st Faculty of Medicine.
I provide teaching and statistical consulting at undergraduate and graduate level in courses of the Europen Centre of Medical Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology. I also give tutorials on development of educational tests and on methods for analysis of test and item properties.

I am a visiting research scholar at University of Washington for period September 2014 through June 2015.
