The CAS Award for Outstanding Scientific Results of Major Significance

to
  • a research team of the Institute of Mathematics of the CAS, v.v. i., composed of doc. RNDr. Eduard Feireisl, DrSc., and prof. RNDr. Antonín Novotný, CSc. (Université du Sud Toulon Var, Francie) for the scientific result: Singular limits in thermodynamics of viscous fluids, accompanied by a sum of 100 000 CZK
  • a research team of the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the CAS, v. v. i., composed of prof. MUDr. Jiří Forejt, DrSc., Ing. Zdeněk Trachtulec, Dr., RNDr. Soňa Gregorová, Ing. Petr Jansa, CSc., Mgr. David Homolka and Mgr. Ondřej Mihola for the scientific result: Collection of papers on functional genetics and genomics of the house mouse (Mus musculus) as a mammalian model system, accompanied by a sum of 100 000 CZK

  • doc. Mgr. Michalovi Hájkovi, Ph.D., born 1974 (Institute of Botany of CAS, v.v. i.), for the scientific result: Set of studies on fen ekology, accompanied by a sum of 40 000 CZK
The CAS Award for an Exceptionally Successful Solution of Programme and Grant Project:

  • a research team of the Institute of Physics of Materials of the CAS, v. v. i., composed of RNDr. Jiří Čermák, DSc., Ing. Lubomír Král, Ph.D., Ing. Bohumil David, Ph.D. and Mgr. Ivo Stloukal, Dr., for the scientific result: Hydrogen storage in chosen Mg-Ni-based alloys, accompanied by a sum of 80 000 CZK
