ELI BEAMLINES AND HILASE SUMMER SCHOOL 2015

ELI Beamlines and HiLASE Summer School (ELISS 2015) will be held in Prague, The Czech Republic from Sunday August 23rd, 2015 to Friday August 28th, 2015. The summer school targets students around the world to participate in seminars lead by distinguished academics and researchers.

The 8th Conference on Aperiodic Crystals - Aperiodic 2015 - is organized under the auspices of the Commission on Aperiodic Crystals of the International Union of Crystallography, and will be held in the Brevnov monastery, Prague, Czech Republic from August 30 to September 4, 2015. The will be the eight of a series of events held triennially since the first Aperiodic in Les Diablerets in 1994. The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists dealing with all aspects of aperiodic crystals and related problems.

The 27th Ad-Hoc Workshop on Jana2006: Electron diffraction

This workshop explains and demonstrates the method of electron diffraction tomography. Using practical examples, it explains the whole process starting from electron diffraction data collection and processing, followed by solution of the phase problem and finished by refinement of crystal structures using either kinematical or dynamical theory.
