Abstract:
Brassinosteroids are potent plant-growth promoting steroids. The importance of their biological properties led to the synthesis of these substances and to the investigation of structure-activity relationships. Antiproliferative and cytotoxic activity of natural brassinosteroids and their structural derivatives on the range of human and animal cell lines have been tested.
