Changes in how library services are provided
Dear users, in connection with the changes in the provision of some services, the new version of the Library Regulations of the Library of AS CR, v. v. i., becomes effective on 1st September 2015.
What’s new:
– Speedier processing of requests
– Off-site loan period extended automatically
– Pay fees online
– Membership for remote access extended online
– Wireless Internet connection available for visitors

Information about summer opening hours at the library
Dear Users, We would like to let you know about the closure of the library to take place 3–28 August 2015. The library and all services it offers will be operating as normal at other times (9 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday–Friday).

Prague Museum Night Invitation
For the first time the Library of the Academy of Sciences will be part of Prague Museum Night as its 48th participating institution. During the evening, the spectacular central hall will be resounded with Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony no. 8 G dur performed by Academy Orchestra. Concert begins at 8 p.m. and once again at 9:30 p.m. Everyone is invited!
