Josef Lazar
The work of the Lazar lab spans cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, optics, physical chemistry, structural biology and neuroscience. The unique tool of the Lazar lab is the technique of two-photon polarization microscopy (2PPM) (Lazar J. et al., Nature Methods 2011). We are working on improving the instrumentation, developing the 2PPM technique into a tool of structural biology, developing genetically encoded probes that take advantage of the strengths of the technique, and applying 2PPM to answering outstanding biological questions. |
