Project: Magnetosphere-ionosphere-troposphere coupling and its impact on ionospheric variability
The aim of the project is to carry out a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the magnetosphere-ionosphere-troposphere coupling and its effects on ionospheric variability, caused by magnetic disturbances and acoustic-gravity waves (mainly of meteorological and topographic origin) over the middle latitude of the Northern and Southern hemisphere using observation of the multi-instrumental measuring system. The proposed synergy of the Doppler system, ionosonde and GPS observations networks installed at different locations allows us to obtain and supply users with more reliable and complex information on the state of ionosphere usable also in the international ionospheric models.
