Quality of CERGE-EI Research Recognized in the 2014 Global Go To Think Tank Index!

Did you know that there are more than 6500 think tanks around the world? Many play an important role in shaping government and civil society but it can be difficult to judge the extent of their contributions. For 8 years, the Think Tanks & Civil Societies Program at the University of Pennsylvania has published an annual index of think tanks that has been described as "the insider's guide to the global marketplace of ideas."

CERGE-EI has achieved a global reputation by producing frontier economics research. Informing public policy debate is a core part of our mission. IDEA, our think tank, focuses on policy oriented research and recommendations, backed by the rigorous analysis and academic expertise of CERGE-EI scholars. We are delighted that the quality of our work has been recognized in the 2014 GGTTI index where we feature among the leaders in two important categories: Domestic Economic Policy and Best University Affiliated Think Tanks. It's a tribute to the dedication and talent of our faculty and our students.
