Alumni Profiles

Katarína Kálovcová is a consultant at KPMG, Czech Republic. She works mainly on projects involving process mapping and optimization, and governance model development and implementation. Further, she has worked on projects involving cash management, benchmarking, evaluation of projects, and credit check. Before starting on her PhD studies at CERGE-EI in 2004, Katarína was awarded a Masters degree in Mathematics and Management at the Comenius University Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics in Bratislava. In 2012, she defended her dissertation entitled "Essays on Prediction and Betting Markets" consisting of three experimental chapters on the information aggregation process on these types of markets. Katarína teaches a game theory course at the University of Economics (VŠE) in Prague.
