PROJECT CONTENT
The subject of the project of the Center of Molecular interactions in Biomedicine was the building of a top workplace for basic research on the interactions of biomolecules, their identification, characterization, visualization and inhibition.
In the Center, the main things studied are protein-protein interactions and protein-small molecule interactions, which are important
for communication between human pathogens, the host organism and substances that hinder the negative influence of pathogenic organisms
on the host. The project is focused on the creation of the technical conditions of scientific work corresponding to the highest global
standards of science in the given areas in the third millennium, hence on creating both the spatial and instrumental conditions for
further successful development. The aim of the project is to maintain the international peak position of science in the given areas
at the IOCB of the ASCR, v.v.i.
