Self-Classification on the Left-Right Scale of Political Orientation - June 2015

In the June survey the Public Opinion Research Centre gave all respondents a question that at eleven-point scale measures the left-right political orientation: "In politics, people sometimes talk about right and left. Where would you place yourself ranked on this scale?"

 

Trust to Some Public Institutions - March 2015

In March 2015 as a part of Public Opinion Research Centre's survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to the selected social institutions. Confidence significantly prevails in the case of army, police and radio. Approximately half of citizens trusts in courts, Internet, banks and television. Churches are percepted as the least trustworthy institutions.

Opinion on the prevalence and level of corruption among public officials and institutions - March 2015

As a part of March survey there were some questions focused on interest of Czech citizens to the topic of corruption. We were interested in the views of citizens on the prevalence of bribery among public officials and opinion on the level of corruption in various institutions and areas of public life. Czech public perceive bribery as widespread phenomenon. Two-thirds of Czech citizens (66%) believe that most or almost all public officials are corrupt.

We were interested in the views of citizens on the prevalence of bribery among public officials and opinion on the level of corruption in different institutions and areas of public life.

Trust over mistrust prevailed slightly also in NGOs. Churches are seemed as the least trustworthy institution.
