Ing. Zdeněk Kučera , CSc.

Zdenek Kucera has been working in the Department of Strategic Studies of the Technology Centre ASCR as an analyst and project manager since 2004. Zdenek specializes in research and innovation policy analysis and design.

Before joining the Technology Centre ASCR, Zdenek gained experience in basic and applied research of solid state and optoelectronics in the Institute of Physics of the Charles University in Prague and worked as a project manager in SMEs focused on manufacturing, services and consultations.

Zdenek graduated in solid state engineering from the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He obtained the PhD degree in the solid state physics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in Prague.
