The MA in Applied Economics program reflects the increasingly significant role that economics plays in today’s world. It combines theoretical mathematics-based economics with real-life applications. You will develop your ability to apply economic reasoning to real-world business and public policy issues, and expand your skills in data analysis and interpretation.

During your studies you can specialize in financial economics, public policy, macroeconomics and forecasting or corporate economics. You will gain analytical skills and learn to solve practical problems while earning the Master of Arts in Applied Economics degree in one year. After graduation you will be well prepared to take up a challenging position as an analyst, economist or consultant in either the private or public sector, to pursue managerial positions or to set up your own business.
