For the first time scientists have measured the force of interaction between pairs of antiprotons, which seems to be attractive and strong. Researchers at the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science User Facility for nuclear physics research at DOE's Brookhaven National Laboratory conducted an experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. They believe the findings could help them gain insight into larger chunks of antimatter.
