Původně tropický a subtropický druh Clogmia albipunctata (Diptera: Psychodidae) je nově zaznamenán ve střední Evropě: v České republice na devíti lokalitách v Brně, na jedné v Praze a na několika lokalitách na Slovensku. Tento invazní druh kolonizuje zejména antropogenní oblasti, ve kterých nalézá vhodné teplotní podmínky pro přezimování. Bylo doloženo i periodické osidlování přírodních biotopů (dendrotelmy), pouze však během teplých období roku. Nelze zatím odhadnout, jestli „nový“ druhu představuje skutečnou hrozbu pro biodiverzitu naší přirozené fauny. Současně předkládáme naše výsledky z laboratorních chovů a terénních pozorování, které rozšiřují poznatky o bionomii tohoto druhu, a probíráme případná zdravotní rizika včetně asanačních opatření. Protože C. albipunctata může vyvolat zdravotní problémy zvané myiázy, je druhá část článku zaměřena na jejich podrobnou charakteristiku.

The originally tropical and subtropical species Clogmia albipunctata (Diptera: Psychodidae) has been newly recorded in Central Europe – 9 sites in Brno, one in Prague and several sites in Slovakia. This immigrant species has colonized mainly anthropogenic habitats with suitable temperature conditions for its overwintering. During the warm periods of the year, it also temporally occurs in natural habitats (tree holes). It is still unclear whether the „new“ species poses a real threat to the biodiversity of our native fauna. The results of laboratory breeding and field observations, which extend our knowledge of the bionomics of C. albipunctata, are presented, while relevant health risks (myiasis) and sanitary control are discussed.
