Library

The CERGE-EI Library, established in 1992, has grown into a rich resource of economic literature, housing journals and contemporary economic literature. Today it is considered the best library of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe and, as such, is an important center for library services in Economics.

The library has been enhanced thanks to grants from the Austrian government, the Westinghouse Foundation and through support from the University of Pittsburgh. The library has benefited from the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development in 2006-2010, and 2012-2014. The serial collection has been enhanced over the years through grants from Komerční banka, a.s., and Česká národní banka.
