Ondřej Rydval has served as Deputy Director for Administration of CERGE, Charles University, and the Economics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (EI) since September 2013. He has also been a Researcher at both CERGE and EI since January 2013. He was Deputy Director for Development and PR from November 2012 through August 2013.  Prior to that, he was a Research Associate at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena, Germany (2007-2012), as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2007-2012) and a Junior Researcher (2004-2007) at EI. Ondřej received his B.A. Hons in Economics from the University of Cambridge in 2001, M.A. in Economics from CERGE-EI in 2003, and Ph.D. in Economics from CERGE-EI, Charles University in Prague in 2007.
