Dear friends, colleagues and supporters of CERGE-EI,

With the turn of the year, I want to warmly thank you all once again for your generous support of and commitment toCERGE-EI. I would also like to use this opportunity to briefly summarize what we have achieved together in the past year in fulfilling our research and educational mission. In many respects, 2015 was an exceptional year for CERGE-EI.

CERGE-EI  invites current university students and recent graduates to submit papers to the New Economic Talent 2016 competition. Deadline for submission is 15 March, 2016.

CERGE-EI succeeded in the UniCredit & Universities Foscolo Europe international competition and won a three-year postgraduate fellowship in a total of EUR 150 thousand. The competition was announced by the UniCredit & Universities Foscolo Foundation, which is connected with UniCredit, a leading European banking group.

CERGE-EI is proud to announce that Volha Audzei, a PhD student and junior researcher at CERGE-EI, was awarded a share of first prize in the 2015 Prof. František Vencovský Prize.
