Citizens about Their Participation and Voting in the Referendum on the Entry of the CZ to the EU

The question, if respondents are going to participate in the June referendum on the entry of the Czech Republic to the European Union, was answered as follows: 42 % of citizens with the voting right stated they would "definitely" participate, 35 % said they would "more likely" participate and 16 % would not take part. The group, which does not know whether it will participate or not, currently amounts to seven percent. The number of respondents firmly decided on participating in the referendum got back to its level of previous months after an April drop. A similar development was also recorded in the case of those that promised their participation less definitely. Among the people planning to "definitely" or "more likely" participate in the referendum ", 75 % of them intend to vote for and 17 % against the entry of the CZ to the EU. Eight percent said they did not yet know in which way they were going to vote.
