Evidence of publication and other scientific activities of IAP scientists

Our library keeps records of scientific publications and other results produced by our employees in specialized databases: ASEP and RIV.

All IAP researchers are supposed to continuously notify the IAP Library of all new results of their scientific activity (that means scientific publication and other results). The library stores the recordings of these academic results in the ASCR database ASEP. 

ASEP is a basic and fundamenal source of information used for evaluation of individual scientist and scientific teams. It is a basis for compiling bibliographic lists for the needs of in-house attestation.

Once a year, the records of ASEP are exported via the provider of funds to the RIV database. This database is a part of the Information System for Research and Development in the Czech Republic, operated by the Office of the Government - Department of Research, Development and Innovation. RIV is a tool of annual evaluation and rating of academic institutes. Therefore completeness of records is considerably important.
