Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences opens post-doctoral/research-follow position to participate in development of laser spectroscopy methods and their applications within the research team Fiber Lasers and Nonlinear Optics. The research will be focused on high resolution spectroscopy of trace gases using mid-infrared sources based on difference frequency mixing in nonlinear optical crystals. The applicant should have a deep interest in development of new spectroscopic methods for environment and food quality monitoring as well as for medical diagnostics.
PhD degree in the field of spectroscopy, fiber optic instrumentation, nonlinear optics, experimental physics or physical chemistry is required.
